Members that are currently experiencing a power outage in the Floyds Knobs area - there is a broken pole and broken transformer on St. Mary's Road. A tree uprooted and fell causing the pole to break. Crews are currently working to replace both the pole and transformer to restore service as soon as possible. If you have determined that the outage is not due to a problem at your residence or business, call SCI REMC at (765) 342-3344 or (800) 264-7362. System Operators are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When there is a widespread power outage, the REMC’s telephone lines will be swamped with calls.
